The Ultimate Compat Mod cleans up duplicate items across a bunch of popular mods. Instead of your inventory filling with three different "Redwood Logs" that don't work in each other's recipes, you get ONE, and every single mod's decor, tools, and blocks can still be crafted from it.

❓FAQ
Q: How does this actually work?
A: A mix of datapack overrides (loot tables, recipes, tags, item names) plus a small Java plugin that hides duplicate items from JEI and creative tabs. The Compat Workbench itself adds a custom recipe type with auto-generated bidirectional recipes for every consolidated item.
Q: Are more versions coming?
A: Yes. Forge and NeoForge ports are actively being worked on, plus support for 1.21.1, 1.21.11, and 26.1+ is on the way.
Q: Can I use this in my modpack?
A: Yes! This mod is under an MIT license, which means you can do whatever you like with it ! Add it to your pack, edit it. No permission needed. Credit is appreciated but never required! (please lol)
Q: Can I request another mod, or contribute?
A: Absolutely. Pull requests, bug reports, and mod support requests are all welcome on our GitHub. If a mod adds duplicate items you'd like folded in, open an issue and we'll get to it.
