Hello fellow train, plane, and architecture enthusiasts! Are you interested in:

• Designing housing across multiple different eras?
• Planning and developing a town from the ground up?
• Roleplaying with a full economy system and jobs?
• Maybe engineering your favorite locomotive together with some friends?

If any of your answers are YES, then the Crosley modpack is for you!

What is it?

This modpack was created for the Crosley minecraft server. However, you have permission to use this modpack for personal pruposes as well.

This modpack contains a variety of specialties, including but not limited to:

• Vehicles
• Architecture
• Exploration
• Electrical Engineering
• Cooking And so much more!

These specialties, in combination with a few QOL mods and fun little gimmicks, makes a very realistic Minecraft experience. For example, you can take a train to your friend's large city, then take a tram to an apartment, have a pizza delivered, and then use a telegraph to talk to your other friend! Many silly scenarios may play out when messing around with the separate pieces of the modpack.

How do I play it?

When you start a new world with the modpack enabled, the first thing that you'll get is a menu. This menu allows you to select your race and class. (This is the Origins mod.) After selecting, you're off into your world!

What is its performance?

Even with ~150 mods, this modpack is quite high on the scale of performance. Sodium makes this possible, but it's also because it doesn't really add much outside of Create. There's also only 5 world gen mods, so it doesn't add much to a normal world.

However, if you're running this modpack on a lower-end Intel chip, you're not going to have a great time with lag. Flywheel has some issues that aren't resolvable for older computers using things like Celeron.

Does it come with shaders or resource packs?

While it used to come with Fresh Animations, there are no longer any resource packs or shaders. This modpack is made to be installed on both the server and the client with little modification. Some client-side mods must be removed until we get a stable release stream of both versions at once.

The development of the mod selection is in part due to the server #mod-suggestions. Without their help, almost half of this modpack wouldn't exist.
