Technological Sandbox is a tech modpack that allows factory construction, logistics, automation, and expansion game inspired by other popular industry simulation games as well as Team CoFH's Thermal Series, but with some magic as well as new and untouched horizons to explore!

The Purpose

Technological Sandbox provides the most popular tech mods combined with some magic and exploration mods to widen your gameplay experience. There are no quests however, but can be played with survival mode whether in normal or peaceful modes for a tycoon experience. Or it can be played with creative mode for a sandbox experience. Getting used to these systems will require a lot of practice, so we recommend playing with friends via the included World Host mod. Your choice, your rules, your freedom.

Q: What are the system requirements of this modpack?

A: This modpack requires a modern, beefy PC with at least 8 GB of memory as the minimum and at least 16 GB of the recommend memory. This modpack also requires a system that supports OpenGL 4.6 as well. (Or if you're in macOS instead of Windows, it requires a Mac system that supports OpenGL 4.1.)

Q: Can I make a derivative of this modpack?

A: Yes you can, as long as you credit its original creator, Woody Takada, and not change the license as the Apache 2.0 License requires attribution.

Q: What are the build channels of this modpack?

A: The release channel are the production-ready "gold" builds that they use the normal 1.[UPDATE](.[PATCH]) numbering format. The beta channel are the "silver" release candidate builds that follows the the same as the production-ready ones, but they also end with -rc[NUMBER]. The alpha channel are the "copper" snapshots that follows the YYYY.MM.DD and/or the 1.[UPDATE] YYYY年MM月DD日 numbering formats but they may be completely unstable due to unfixed bugs.
