Список изменений
Changes:
- Is now designed for Minecraft 1.20.2!
- This update introduces a lot of new recipes for the Stonecutter.
- Most of these extends from the Partial Cutback rule as it was largely underdeveloped before.
- Cutting Bowls now give you only 1 Stick (previously 6).
- Originally I thought you'd get a Bowl from 3 Planks, but this isn't really the case.
New Recipes:
- Pressure Plates and Buttons can now be cut back.
- Previously I thought this wouldn't make sense, but Signs can be cut back.
- Activator, Detector and Powered Rail can now be cut back into Ingots.
- Rail can also be cut into 3 Iron Nuggets. (technically 54/16, but the manager takes whole numbers)
- Blast Furnace and Smoker can now be cutback.
- Enchanted Books and Books now share the same recipes.
- Minecarts and their variants (except TNT Minecarts) can now be cutback.
- Clocks and Compasses can now be cutback.
- Cutting a Recovery Compass, however, will only give you Echo Shards.
- Repeaters, Comparators, Observers, Pistons, Dispensers and Droppers can now be cutback.
- Redstone Lamp and Torch can now be cutback.
- Hoppers can now be cutback.
- While this is a potential container, it's not often used as one, so I'll make an exception here.
- Iron Doors and Trapdoors can now be cut into Ingots.
- Shield can now be cutback. You can only get 8 Iron Nuggets from this though.
- Like Lanterns, Soul Lanterns can now be cutback as well.
- Spectral Arrows can now be cut into Glowstone Dust.
- Tripwire Hooks can now be cutback into 4 Iron Nuggets, or a Stick.
- Technically it's 9/2 and 3/2 respectively, but manager takes whole numbers.
- As a result of this change, cutting Crossbows have also been changed.
Because of my Relationship Manager1, these got expanded into 67 new recipes, for a total of 686!
Partial Cutback details:
- Partial Cutback returns some of your ingredients back for cutting a crafted result.
- The crafted item must be from a Crafting Table, and can't be tools or armor.
- The crafted item must also be from Vanilla, or from my other packs.
- The cutback must also make sense and wouldn't change Vanilla's design.
- Special notes:
- Recipes using especially rare items (Smithing Templates, Beacons, ...) can't be cutback.
- If a crafting result and its ingredients have different obtaining methods, they can't be cutback.
- Either way you slice it, edible items can't be made with the Sawblade.
- Items using multiple craftable options can only be cut into what they all can make.
- Andesite/Diorite/Granite can't be cutback to get a different block of that set.
- Walls can't be cut to make the full Block version.
- Containers (except Hoppers) can't be cut into materials because you'll always lose what's inside.
- Scaffolding can't be used to cutback Bamboo - those 2 have entirely different properties.
- Quartz Blocks can't make Quartz due to how different these 2 are in the way you get them.
PS: I've decided for now to not mess with the item amounts because I don't want to rewrite the entire Relationship Manager to account for this unexpected rule in this release, which'll take a long while.
Will think of this in an upcoming update though.
Designing these rulesets take a long time, so if you can, please help me do more of this stuff on Patreon!
I'll be able to maintain these with better ideas, and make new projects so you can have more fun!
Footnotes:
1: A custom-made tool that creates all possible recipes from the given rules.
- Here's the real secret: I've been doing all this since 2018, but ad revenue alone is tiny compared to the time it took to research, develop, test, and maintain all this for free.
- As a result, most of my days are swallowed by other work just to keep the lights on.
- With your help though, I'll be able to go full-time: Faster updates, better tools, and many more features.
Together, we don’t just keep this going, we build it into what it was always meant to be. - So help me keep the lights on here, and have fun with Sawblade!
