Stormward

Aluminum

• New ore that can be found in all biomes, and is slightly rarer than Iron.
• Found in raw form, and can be smelted into Aluminum Ingots
• Can be used to craft Aluminum Blocks, Aluminum Plating, and Aluminum Armor
• Replaces Iron in all Fabrial recipes
• Like Shardplate, Aluminum Armor can block surges and Shardblades, though Shardblades still damage the wearer
• Aluminum blocks cannot be affected by surges, such as Transformation or Cohesion

Glyphwards & Glyphward Inscribing

• Added two new items, the Empty Glyphward and the Glyphward of Storms
• Glyphwards can be burned to trigger effects. Empty Glyphwards have no effect, but burning a Glyphward of Storms will trigger a rainstorm, or a Highstorm in Rosharan biomes.
• Added the new Inscribing Table block, which uses Empty Glyphwards, Ink Sacs, and experience levels to craft glyphwards, such as the Glyphward of Storms
• Added a new villager profession: the Ardent. Inscribing Table blocks serve as the job site block for Ardents, and Ardents trade Glyphward-related items, as well as various other Roshar-exclusive items.
• Replaced the Brewing Stand in Alethi village temples with an Inscribing Table

Duel Improvements & Fixes

• Fires can now be set in Duels
• Fixed a bug where Duels would crash when a player stopped seeing the bossbar in multiplayer worlds
• Duelist mobs now collide with arena borders regardless of their Y level, to prevent them from leaving
• Duelist mobs that manage to escape the arena are now automatically teleported back inside

Config Improvements

• Reformatted Stormward config files to correctly use Server, Client, and Common config values. This ensures that critical config values are properly synced between the server and clients. This does also mean you may have to readjust your configurations, as many config variables that once were in the Common config file are now in the Server config file, which is world-specific.
• Added config variables to adjust Highstorm settings, including the following: crem chance, crem stick chance, lightning chance, damage chance, damage amount, stormlight interval, stormlight amount, wind force, and an optional config to enable highstorms in every biome
• Quadrupled rate at which Radiants drain Stormlight from Spheres, and made the rate into a config variable
• Moved the chance that killing Parshendi grants Bad Omen to a config variable
• Moved Tuning Fork Stormlight transference and automated Stormlight transference intervals and amounts to config variables
• All items and blocks that hold Stormlight now have a config variable for their max capacity

Radiant Ability Improvements & Fixes

• Can now apply Stoneshaped to mobs, and they properly pathfind
• Fixed a bug where Stoneshaped particles would play incorrectly
• Oathgates and Transportation both now attempt to change your Y level so you do not suffocate when changing dimensions
• Surge immune entities (such as from Shardplate or Aluminum Armor) are now also immune to Division damage
• Division fire can now replace replaceable blocks
• Added a visual and audio effect for when abilities are negated by Aluminum or Shardplate
• Blocking with a Half-Shard Shield now also makes you immune to surges

Shard Improvements

• Shardplate now make wearers immune to freezing
• Shardplate now properly prevents players from losing Absorption life
• Shardplate and Shardblade items are now fire resistant

Other Improvements & Bug Fixes

• Updated recipes of some Fabrials
• The Ascender and Ascender Winch are no longer crafted in the Artifabrian’s table
• Added a recipe to smelt Stone Grass Blocks into Stone
• Fixed a bug where certain gemstones could not be used as armor trim material
• Made a minor change to full Sphere textures
• Parshendi holding Bows can now drop Arrows on death
• Fixed Shadesmar ore block sounds
• Added missing Crem Bricks stonecutting recipes to The Diagram
• Adjusted level-based save data to be more reliable. This may have broken some Oathgate pairings, which can be fixed by re-placing them
• Shardbearers’ boss healthbars now display the mob’s custom name, if they have one
• For the sake of their own health, melee Alethi Soldiers will no longer attack Creepers
• Prevented Shadesmar True Spren from wandering around during a trade
• Can now use Bonemeal on Stone Grass Blocks and Crem Blocks to spawn Stone Grass and Rockbuds
• Can now use Bonemeal on Cognitive Obsidian and Cognitive Crystal to spawn Fractal Ferns and other Shadesmar plants, depending on the biome
• Can now use bonemeal on Fractal Ferns to make them into Large Fractal Ferns
• Fixed a bug where Large Fractal Ferns appeared disjointed when placed horizontally
• Fixed a bug where breaking a horizontal Large Fractal Fern could break one below it
• Fragment blocks now only require a Stone Pickaxe to mine
• Shadesmar ore no longer requires an Iron Pickaxe to mine
• Artifabrian’s Table and Stormlight Transference Stand are now crafted with Garnets instead of Rubies
• Soulcasters can now be crafted with any combination of gems
• Updated the Glyph Block recipes to use less Stone
• Rearranged which Villager professions want which gemstones for Alethi Villager trades
• Removed items that can be acquired outside Roshar from Thaylen Merchant trades, except for gemstone exchanges
• Slightly reduced effectiveness of Carapace Armor
