- New mountainous biome with highstorms
- Contains naturally generated hot springs, some of which will contain a perpendicularity
- Perpendicularity
- New block that can only be found in Horneater hot springs
- Works similarly to a nether portal, teleporting mobs to the Shadesmar
- Lifespren (Shadesmar)
- Flying creature that spawns naturally in the Shadesmar
- Will hang around Shadesmar plants
- Drops Lifespren Bulb when killed, which can be used to craft Lifespren Bulb Blocks
- Fearspren (Shadesmar)
- Creature that spawns naturally in the Shadesmar
- Runs away from players and monsters
- Drops Fearspren Jelly when killed, which can be used as a crafting ingredient or ingested to remove any stacks of the “Terror” effect currently on the player
- Fearspren Jelly Block
- Crafted from Fearspren Jelly
- Behaves like Slime or Honey blocks when interacting with pistons and movement fabrials
- Shadesmar
- Changed Shadesmar world generation to “flatten” it. Every 2 blocks of height in the Overworld corresponds to 1 block of height in the Shadesmar
- Added caves and canyons to the Shadesmar
- Made minor changes to surface rules to add some block variation
- Shadesmar mob spawning has been tweaked
- Undead are now immune to drowning in beads
- Zombies submerged in beads will now convert to Drowned
- Other Improvements
- Aimian gemhearts now spawn in fossil structures instead of being scattered
- Oathgate connection logic has been improved
- Blocks that can store stormlight now output a comparator signal based on remaining stormlight
- Trees no longer stack on top of each other during world generation
- Falling crem can now replace replaceable blocks, such as snow, during a highstorm
- Added Parshendi sound effects
