Starfield Pastoral Friendship

A lightweight friendship tweak for Starfield Pastoral that stops NPC friendship from decaying, removes the weekly gift limit, and lets you set any NPC's friendship level directly — all from an in-game config screen.

What it does

• No Friendship Decay – NPC friendship points never drop below the highest value they've ever reached, even if you don't talk to or gift an NPC for a while.
• Infinite Gifts – removes the weekly 2-gift limit for every NPC, so you can give as many gifts as you want.
• Set Friendship – pick any NPC and set their friendship directly in hearts, without needing to talk to them or give gifts at all.

Configuration

Open Mods → Starfield Pastoral Friendship → Config in-game (or edit starfieldpastoralfriendship-common.toml in your config folder directly):

• No Friendship Decay – toggles the decay prevention on/off.
• Infinite Gifts – toggles the weekly gift limit removal on/off.
• Set Friendship – opens a sub-category with one field per NPC. Enter the number of hearts you want (0–8 for marriage candidates, 0–10 for everyone else) and it's applied automatically within a second — the field then resets itself back to -1 (do nothing), ready for the next time you want to change that NPC's friendship.

Known issues

• Setting a value is checked once per second, so it can take up to a second to apply, and only affects players who are online at that moment.
• The hearts shown in the friendship tooltip during a conversation use a universal 0–14 scale, while the Social menu and this mod's config use each NPC's real limit (8 or 10) — so the numbers won't always match, that's expected.
• Lowering an NPC's friendship below its current value works, but if you're also using No Friendship Decay, the new lower value becomes the new "floor" — it won't decay further, but it also won't be pushed back up on its own.
