!Spiritual Come Back

Spiritual Come Back (SCB)

Spiritual Come Back is a Minecraft mod designed to make getting back to your items after dying a little less painful.

After respawning, you temporarily become a spirit. This gives you some useful abilities that help you reach the place where you died without having to worry quite as much about the usual dangers along the way.

The mod works especially well alongside grave mods such as Corpse or GraveStone Mod, since it gives you a way to safely return to your death location and recover your belongings.

Requirements

This mod requires Kleiders Custom Renderer API:

https://legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/kleiders-custom-renderer-api

Panicked Spirit

![Panicked Spirit]

When you respawn after dying, you receive the Panicked Spirit effect for 120 seconds.

During this time, your character takes on a ghostly appearance and gets:

• Speed II
• Fire Resistance
• Slow Falling

The idea is pretty simple: give you a short window to get back to your death location quickly, especially when your items are somewhere dangerous.

Configuration

SCB includes a configuration file that lets you change the mod's behavior.

You can find it here:

/config/SpiritualComeBack_config.json

The available settings can be adjusted directly from that file.

Spiritual Protection

Being a spirit doesn't make you completely safe.

If you're attacked while Panicked Spirit is active, the mod gives you the Spiritual Protection effect.

![Spiritual Protection]

This effect gives you temporary Spiritual Armor, which helps protect you from further damage while you're trying to recover your items.

The armor remains available until you retrieve your belongings or the Panicked Spirit effect runs out.

Spiritual Armor

The set currently consists of 3 pieces:

Spiritual Flower

Something else appears at the place where you died: a Spiritual Flower.

![Spiritual Flower]

The flower has a useful purpose. Staying close to it removes your active spiritual effects, so it can effectively end your spirit state before the timer expires.

It also gives you a small risk/reward mechanic if you decide to break it.

Spooky Advantage

Breaking the Spiritual Flower has a 50% chance of giving you the Spooky Advantage effect.

![Spooky Advantage]

Spooky Advantage gives you 15 seconds of healing, which can be useful after surviving whatever killed you in the first place.

There is also a 5% chance of triggering the Mysterious Force effect instead.

This effect launches you into the air and lets gravity take over. Whether that ends well or not is up to you.

You are free to include Spiritual Come Back in your modpack.
