Major Version Update: 1.1.0
'Ghost' Mode
-
Instead of being eliminated and being placed into Spectator, you get placed into a new 'Ghost' mode
-
This mechanic allows eliminated players to interact with the Living World while they are awaiting a revive
-
In 'Ghost' Mode, you get access to a few Key-binds; G, H, E, R, I and O (by default)
-
Visibility Key-binds;
- G - Toggle Visibility to Living Players (also enables Voice Chat integration when visible and disables it when invisible)
- H - Toggle Glowing Outline (only while visible to Living Players)
-
Possession Key-binds;
- Right-click - Possess a Mob (excl. Warden, Wither and Ender Dragon)
- X - Exit 'Possession'
- R - Use Mob Ability (Explode as a Creeper, Teleport as an Enderman, etc.)
-
Extra Key-binds;
- I - Toggle Leaving Footprints on the Floor (visible to Living Players)
- O - Leave a 'Pin' (short message that is visible to Living Players)
-
'Possession' Rules
- You can 'Possess' a Mob for a total of 5 minutes
- 'Possession' is only possible when the meter is at least 40% full (indicated in the hot bar)
- Recharging the 'Possession' meter fully takes 25 minutes (5 minutes for 20%, 10 minutes for 40% minimum requirement)
- Certain possessions are nerfed to be more balanced and might be adjusted again in the future
- Only while possessing a Zombie, Zombie Villager or a regular Villager, can you use Voicechat integration
Soul Changes
- Added a new unique Soul-type, Vigil;
- The 'Vigil' soul is a direct counter to the 'Draconic' and 'Corrupted' Soul-types;
- The 'Vigil Soul' item is craft-able in the Soul Altar using your own Soul and a Heavy Core
- After using the item and obtaining the 'Vigil' Soul-type, it gives you another consumable 'Vigil Soul' item that will revert you back to your previous soul
- When within a 64-block radius of a 'Draconic' or 'Corrupted' Soul-type, they lose their max health bonus
- Though, spending 5+ minutes within the radius of the 'Draconic' or 'Corrupted' Soul-type, the player loses 1 max health permanently (up to 5 max health total)
- After using the consumable 'Vigil Soul' to return back to your previous Soul-type or getting eliminated and revived, gain your regular max health back!
- The 'Vigil' soul is a direct counter to the 'Draconic' and 'Corrupted' Soul-types;
- Added a new basic Soul-type: Mischief
Soul Altar Changes
- After being revived at a Soul Alar, you gain full health (before it was only half a heart of health), gain temporary Absorption, Speed, Resistance and Fire Resistance, but you remain at 0.5 lives initially
- If you are online while being revived you are now teleported to the Soul Altar, making you visible to the players reviving you
- You can now craft Artificial Lives using an Enchanted Golden Apple
- You are now able to undo a soul-bind if both players self-sacrifice and choose to put their souls back into the altar, setting both players back to 1 life
