Major Version Update - 1.2.0
Soul Changes
- Introducing a new Soul-type.. sort of..? - Soulless
- When self-sacrificing, you now become 'Soulless'
- You can right-click your previous soul in order to swap back to it, however, you will only have 1 life max, no matter how many lives you had previously
- This technically allows you to reject the Soul-type that you were assigned, however, it does keep you stuck at half a life, meaning you can only max out at 2.5 max lives
- Souls can no longer be stored in any storage blocks
- Soul Infusions now work differently;
- In order to Infuse your Soul (ex; Dragon Egg, Warden Heart, Heavy Core) you will now need an additional Sacrifice Item
- This Sacrifice Item is selected at random upon the world's creation
- The only way to find out what item you need to use is by finding books in the new 'Book Monument' structures
- 3 Book Monuments spawn per world (Overworld, Nether, End) for each type of 'unique' Soul (Draconic, Corrupted, Vigil)
- Once a Soul has been infused into a unique Soul, it changes the existing Book to describe the newly randomized item in case the Soul becomes available again
- We're also introducing another 'unique' Soul-type: Omnipotent;
- An 'Omnipotent' Soul is unstable and indecisive - it changes from time to time
- You will be assigned a different 'basic' Soul-type every 20 - 60 minutes
- Obtaining the Omnipotent Soul-type can happen at random!
- When within a 64-block Radius of a Vigil Soul-owner, pause your Soul Timer (but do not get revealed unlike the Draconic and Corrupted Soul-owners)
- Lastly, we are introducing 2 new basic Soul-types;
- Curiosity
- Ignorance
Soul Altar Changes
- Altars now spawn Deactivated;
- Deactivated Soul Altars need to be activated by 3 random mob drops, which are indicated in chat after right-clicking the Deactivated Soul Altar
- After Activating it, it remains Activated forever (adjustable in the config)
- Soul Altars now have a dedicated 'Soul Dust' slot;
- Soul Altars take 12 Soul Dust to put into the reserve slot for the next use, instead of consuming the placed/surrounding Soul Dust
- Soul Altars will still use the surrounding Soul Dust if there is no Soul Dust in the reserve slot
- Soul Altars still require you to place the Soul Dust between the Soul Lanterns in order to use it
- Soul Altars now have a dedicated 'Infusion' slot;
- The Infusion slot has to house an item when trying to Infuse your Soul
- This Infusion item is selected at random, check the 'Soul Changes' part of the log in order to get more information on this mechanic
- The Infusion item is randomized again once a player has infused their soul
- Changed Soul Altar to be colorless by default, only applying the color of the surrounding Soul Lanterns
- The Soul Dust surrounding the Altar will now be glowing a resembling color of the nearest Soul Lantern
- Made it so that Soul Lanterns and Soul Dust become blast resistant when the Soul Altar is in use
Command Changes
- Updated a few commands
- Introducing 2 new debug commands;
- /souls debug netherportal (true/false)
- Enables or Disables the creation of any Nether Portals (already opened portals remain open)
- /souls debug endportal (true/false)
- Enables or Disables the creation of any End Portals (already opened portals remain open)

- Soul Altar (Nether)
- Up to 3 Soul Altar Structures now spawn in the Nether, housing a Deactivated Soul Altar!
- Book Ruin Overworld
- This ruin holds the Sacrificial Item Books in the Overworld
- 3 of these spawn in the Overworld, each corresponding to one of the unique Souls

- 3 of these spawn in the Nether, each corresponding to one of the unique Souls
- Book Ruin End
- This ruin holds the Sacrificial Item Books in the End

- Spawn Platform
Soul Lanterns
- Each Soul now has its own Soul Lantern block;
- Craft (up to 16 at a time) by placing Soul Lanterns into the Soul Altar together with a Soul of your Choice
- It will craft the Soul Lantern according to the Soul you used
- It does not consume the Soul item after crafting
- These Soul Lantern blocks can also be used to power the Soul Altar
