Slime Finder

Tired of having to use an external website to find slime chunks ? Slime Finder offers you an in-game method to find them.

This is a Fabric mod, but a datapack version is available (the datapack version needs the resource pack or the staff will not render correctly).

Slime Dowsing Staff

This item will glint when held in a chunk where at least 1 slime has spawned naturally in a cave.

This item can't recognize a slime chunk if no slime has ever spawned in the said chunk. In a normal playthrough, by the time you have the resources to make a Slime Dowsing Staff, every slime chunks around your base will be registered.
