Highlights

• More 3D editor backgrounds: The 3D editor's background toggle now cycles through 8 background options (white, mid-gray, black, soft green, and soft lavender added alongside the existing light/dark choices).
• Tooltips: Hovering the background toggle in the 3D editor now shows "Change background", and hovering a community skin tile's download badge shows the exact download count.
• Community page counter: The Community browser footer now shows "Page X/Y" with the total page count, instead of just "Page X".
• Faster Community browsing: Skin tiles on a page now download in parallel instead of one at a time, and the maximum tiles per page is capped on wide windows, pages load noticeably faster.

Compatibility

• Requires Fabric API for Minecraft 26.1 (e.g. 0.145.1+26.1 or compatible).
• Requires Fabric Loader 0.19.2 or newer.

Install

• Use Minecraft 26.1 with Fabric. Add Fabric API (matching this MC version) and skincraft-1.3.5.jar to your mods folder.
• New to Fabric? fabricmc.net/use — choose the same Minecraft version as this release.

Online disclosure

• Community Skins is an online feature and connects to the SkinCraft community service.
• When you share a skin, the name, category, and any tags or description you enter are uploaded together with your Minecraft name and UUID so other players can see who uploaded it.
• Local mode keeps working even if the community service is unavailable.
