Welcome to Simply OneBlock !

What is it ?

Simply OneBlock is a datapack that changes the generation of your world to make you spawn on a single regenerative block. As you break the block you'll progress through 20 different phases allowing you to discover new biomes transforming the regenerative block and it's surrounding environement. Every phase will give you the opportunity to mine different blocks, get different loots, see different mobs and face different challenges.

How do I install it ?

It's very simple, it works like any other data packs, if you're not familiar with those just follow the steps:

• Download the .zip file
• As you create a new world in minecraft click on the top right tab "More"
• Click on "Data Packs"
• Click on the bottom left button "Open Pack Folder"
• Put the zipped file in that folder
• The pack should now appear in the "Available" list, click on the logo to put it in the "Selected" list
• Click on "Done"
• Click on create new world
• Select "Yes" on the warning screen
• Break the block !

How do I update it ?

It's very simple, just delete the old pack and replace it with the new one in your world's data_pack folder. None of your progress will be lost, but just in case, it's recommended to backup your world before updating!

Important Note For 1.21.6 to 1.21.10 players

The 1.0.1 version of the pack for minecraft 1.21.6 to 1.21.8 and 1.21.9 to 1.21.10 is missing some files causing a soft lock in the phase 3 dimension. The 1.0.2 version of the pack fixes this problem, follow the steps, none of your progress will be lost :

• In minecraft, select your oneblock world in your world list and click "Edit" (bottom left)
• Click on "Open World Folder"
• Open the "datapacks" tab and delete the faulty 1.0.1 version
• Copy and paste the 1.0.2 version
• Close the tab and click on "Save" (bottom left)
• If you've already entered dimension 3 and opened the graveyard gate you'll need tu run the following command (copy and paste in the chat, then press enter) :

/setblock 14 72 -30 minecraft:trial_spawner{normal_config:"simply_oneblock:zombie",ominous_config:"simply_oneblock:ominous_zombie"}

If you can't run the command because they're not allowed in your world follow those steps :

• Open the game menu with "Escape"
• Click on "Open to LAN"
• Set "Allow command : On"
• Click on "Start LAN world" (bottom left)
• Run the command above
