Simple SIT

SIT is a straightforward plugin designed to make sitting in Minecraft feel natural and polished. I built this because I wanted a lightweight solution that works on modern servers without the bloat or lag often found in older plugins.

right-click on any stair or slab block to sit down instantly. The plugin automatically detects which way the stair is facing, so you won't end up looking at the back of your chair. You can also use the /sit command to sit down wherever you are standing.

SIT also allows you to run /lay and /crawl to sleep anywhere or crawl anywhere in the world! you can turn these both on or off in the Config.

It also supports player stacking. If you have it enabled in the config, you can right-click another player to sit on their shoulders. I've added a check to prevent circular stacking (where two players try to ride each other), so it won't glitch out.

SIT also allows you to sneak and right-click to hoist a friend onto your shoulders. When you're ready, just crouch again to set them down safely, or left-click to yeet them through the air! When you chuck them through the air another player can right click the thrown player to catch them as well! Turning throwing players around into a game of Volleyball!

It is built for Minecraft 1.21+ and specifically designed to support Folia's multi-threading, as well as standard Paper, Spigot, Bukkit, and Purpur servers.

Commands: /sit - Sit down at your current location. /lay - lay down and take a nap. /crawl - crawl around on the ground! /sit reload - Reloads the config file.

Permissions: sit.command - Allows using the /sit command. sit.stairs - Allows sitting on stairs and slabs (on by default). sit.player - Allows sitting on other players (on by default). sit.reload - Allows reloading the plugin (OP only by default).
