Scars of Arcana

Is a Minecraft modpack with the goal to bring magic into the world, while maintaining Minecraft's vibe and core principals intact.

Magic is capable of being expressed in a variety of ways across this recovering land, such as through totemic rites which alter the world around them, or soulbinding pacts which infuse the player with powerful abilities at a pricy cost.

Alongside this, many changes to the vanilla game experience have been made aswell, such as:

• Improved Storage with the introduction of bundles, backpacks and sacks!
• Expanded Cooking through limited food stack sizes and a wide array of new food items
• An overhauled enchantment system, with reworks to how XP functions and allowing you to fairly pick out your gear's enchantments
• And many other tweaks to vanilla features, such as overhauled beacons and elytras!

To guide you through all these new changes and tweaks, a fully custom set of advancements have been implemented, alongside most items containing in-game descriptions on how they function or what they can be used for!
