Saddle Me: Naturalist

Ever chased a Naturalist deer through the forest and thought "I should be riding that"? Now you can. Saddle Up: Naturalist turns the wildlife from Naturalist into proper mounts - each tamed its own way, each with its own riding feel.

The Stable

Deer	Sneak up feed it an apple and saddle it - the saddler becomes its owner	Fast and nimble, with a charged leap on the jump key
Boar	No taming - just saddle it	Pig-style: steer with a carrot on a stick, right-click to boost
Lion	Raw meat or fish (they're big cats - cod and salmon work)	Fast, with a powerful pounce
Hippo	Melon slices	Swims with you aboard - but only ferries you through shallower water
Rhino	Wheat	Camel-style, with a devastating charge dash
Elephant	Hay blocks (or wheat, if you're patient)	Slow, mighty, steps up 1.5 blocks - and hauls two chests (30 slots, visibly strapped to its flanks)

Lion ✨s

Tame the maned ✨ leader and the whole ✨ half-tames with it: they'll let players ride along, they'll never hurt your owner, and they still follow their leader. Fully tame a follower and it leaves the ✨ to be yours alone. Keep a leader and three tamed followers near your bed, and the ✨ hunts while you sleep - wake up every ~3-4 days to a gift of meat... or occasionally a bone or a toy. If the leader dies without a tamed heir, the ✨ abandons you.

How it works

• Visible saddles on every mount, painted onto the animated models
• Horse-style inventory - press your inventory key while riding (or sneak + right-click): saddle slot, elephant cargo, the works
• Owners are sacred - tamed animals never attack whoever tamed them, but keep their natural tempers with everyone else. Elephants still defend their calves; boars still hold grudges
• Wild stays wild - untamed animals keep 100% of their natural behavior. Deer still bolt (sneak up on them), hippos still hate swimmers, rhinos still charge
• Jump-bar leaps for deer and lions, camel-style dashes for the heavyweights
• Saddles drop on death; shears remove saddles and chests; tamed animals never despawn
• No mining slowdown while mounted

Compatibility

• Requires Fabric API and Naturalist 5.0pre3 (Fabric, 1.20.1) - GeckoLib comes along with Naturalist
• Jade (optional): look at any mount to see its owner, speed, and jump height - same format as horses
• Plays nice with HorseBuff, lassos, and pick-up mods (zebras aren't touched - base Naturalist already makes them rideable horses)
• Install on both client and server - No new items or world gen - safe to add to existing worlds

I asked for this mod to be made in hopes it's added to the neocraft server but I haven't asked yet, regardless of weither its added or not I hope you guys like this mod. its a coin flip if any bugs or requests or updates happen unless its added to neocraft and someone on that server asks for it.
