Recovery Compass on Death/Respawn

When you respawn, you are given a recovery compass which helps you find where you last died easier.

I made this for 1.21.10 because i can't find any similar datapacks that worked.

you can change the pack format if you want to use it on older 1.21 versions

ATTENTION!!! I HAVE UPLOADED AN ADDON (under versions) THAT COMES WITH THE MAIN PACK! YOU MUST USE IT TOGETHER WITH THE MAIN DATAPACK FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE!

ITS CALLED "Hello, Death!", it makes the Recovery Compass on Respawn Datapack a well rounded Datapack. Features that it adds!

• Removes the recovery compass as soon as you arrive at your last death location.
• Your death location has a 3-block radius player detector that detects the owner of the death location. When they are within the 3-block radius, they trigger all the other features
• Customizable Sounds & Particles that trigger when you enter your death location!

Context: this was intended to be a feature within the main pack but it was too difficult to create logic and it kept breaking the pack for me, AND NOW it works perfectly as separate packs.

TO ACTIVATE (MAIN REC COMPASS PACK) (YOU MAY NOT NEED TO DO THIS ANYMORE)

when in-game after you've already put the datapack into your world's datapacks folder

1. do /function compass_respawn:setup

2. then do /function compass_respawn:update

3. and now you are all set.
