There are now two Scotti factions. Picta, and the MacHaddish Alliance.
Picta is playable by default, and you can craft McDuig and Mcforn kilts.
Unlike the MacHaddish alliance who were enemies of Araluen, McDuig and McForn were allied with Araluen in the books. In game, you will still need to defeat Morgarath in order to craft the item to ally with Araluen.

Scotti Broch(Tall tower) structures will now be controlled by the MacHaddish alliance by default, requiring Scotti players to take over the tower to get higher level loot unless they manage to create an alliance. Scotti Huts can still be the standard Picta faction.(McDuig/McForn)
