Introduction

Soundings and Outlooks overhauls the PMWeather Sounding Viewer to display real life soundings that're based on severe convective outlooks, and also overhauls the convective outlook system.

Information

Convective Outlooks have been redone to show a 7-day outlook system that is formatted from the Storm Prediction Center. Using PMWeather's risk calculations, convective risks are also now global, instead of localized to where the player is.

When a convective risk is selected, it pulls a sounding used from a real life severe weather event, and plots it on the PMWeather Sounding Viewer!

Except for changing risks to be globalized, PMWU-SO changes nothing to PMWeather gameplay besides visuals.

To switch between the Skew-T and Hodograph, Shift+Right-Click on the PMWeather Sounding Viewer.

Commands

/outlook View the Day 1 thru Day 7 outlook.
/outlook rollover Roll over the outlook to the next day.
/outlook [day1|day2|day3|day4|day5|day6|day7] Change the outlook risk.
Day 1 thru Day 3 can go to HIGH risk, Day 4 thru Day 7 can only go to 15% or 30%.
/outlook upgrade [day1|day2|day3|day4|day5|day6|day7] [TSTM|MRGL|SLGT|ENH|MDT|HIGH|15|30] Change the upgrade chance for a particular day.
/sounding status Display what sounding is currently being used.
