Plan Mod Update 14

Список изменений

Plan — v14

The biggest update yet: plots are gone — every project now gets its own world.

Per-project worlds

  • Each project now lives in its own dimension instead of a plot inside a shared world. No boundaries, no /plan fill limits, and nobody can wander into your build.
  • Every project gets its own Nether and End, created only when you actually build a portal.
  • Projects are archived and recycled automatically. When a world hasn't been used for a while its data is stored and its slot freed; opening the project again restores it exactly as you left it. Blocks, entities, signs, contraptions and modded data all survive intact.
  • Each plan world keeps its own time and weather, independent of the overworld and of every other project.

Settings menu

  • /plan settings [server|world|player] opens an in-game settings menu, rendered as a clickable book — works on vanilla clients with no add-ons. The server tab is operator-only, and the world tab requires being inside a project.
  • Text values (max projects, pool size, seeds, world type) are typed in through the sign editor.
  • Server: disable for non-ops, max projects, dimension pool size, day/night cycle, Allow Nether, Allow End, player/world settings toggles, WorldEdit, custom seeds and superflat types, plus per-world-type pages (allowed, default gamemode, difficulty, mob spawning, structures, seed).
  • World (per project): day/night, mob spawning, difficulty, guest gamemode, guest WorldEdit and guest command list.
  • Player defaults: guest gamemode, WorldEdit, day/night, guest commands, and superflat/regular defaults applied to every project you make.
  • Guest command control — pick exactly which /plan commands non-owners may use, at server, project, and player-default level.
  • A config file (config/plan-server.toml) mirrors the server settings.

New commands

  • /plan join with no argument returns you to your previous project.
  • Invites split: /plan invite is a temporary pass that expires when the guest leaves, while /plan whitelist grants permanent access. /plan revoke removes either.
  • /plan time and /plan weather set the time and weather in your own plan world.
  • /plan debug reports the state that governs block editing, for quick troubleshooting. Please attach this when opening tickets.

Difficulty

You can now edit the difficulty of plan worlds, from peaceful to hard.

Fixes

  • Blocks could not be broken in plan worlds — they broke and instantly reappeared, and /fill reported "no blocks were filled".
  • Plan worlds inherited the overworld's world border, which could block building outright on servers with a small border. They now always use a full-size border.
  • Joining or creating a project while already inside one silently failed: the command claimed success but left you where you were. If a teleport is ever blocked now, the mod rolls the session back and tells you, instead of leaving you half-switched with the wrong inventory.
  • /plan time and /plan weather did nothing; plan worlds followed the overworld's clock and even changed when someone slept.
  • The black gradient in the superflat sky.
  • Returning to a project dropped you at your overworld coordinates instead of where you left off.
  • You no longer briefly appear in creative in the normal world before being teleported.
  • Dying in a plan world returned you to the overworld still holding plan items unless you ran /plan leave. You can no longer die or fall out of a plan world at all, and any death cleanly restores your real state.
  • Players stuck inside a plan world after a server restart could not leave; they're now released automatically.
  • Momentum is preserved when leaving, so falls and clutches carry through.
  • A recycled world no longer inherits the previous project's time or weather.
  • Works in singleplayer.

Performance

  • Idle build worlds release force-loaded chunks, so abandoned projects with chunk loaders or running factories stop ticking entirely instead of burning CPU forever. Builds simply resume when someone returns.
  • Project lookup by world is O(1) instead of scanning every project.
  • First entry into a regular project no longer generates hundreds of chunks on the main thread.
  • Time and weather packets reduced roughly 20x.
  • Removed per-tick allocations and dead code from the tick loop.
