Outline Effects

The big one. The outline is no longer just the thing in your hand.

Armor Enchanted armor now gets an outline too, on you and on everyone else. It has its own page in the settings, separate from items: turn it on or off, outline only enchanted pieces or all of them, set the width, and pick a color per material — including netherite.

Third person Held items are outlined in third person as well: your own body with the camera pulled back, other players, mobs. There is a toggle for it if you only want it in first person.

Trident and shield Both are drawn by the game in a different way from every other item, which is why they had no outline at all before. They do now, in first and third person alike.
