Out of Effects

Out of Effects is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that alerts you when selected potion and status effects expire.

No more guessing when Strength, Speed, Fire Resistance, or other effects run out during combat, building, or exploration.

Features

• Track any vanilla status effect individually
• Notification only triggers when an effect goes from active to expired
• No per-tick spam
• Multiple notification styles:
  • Crosshair Popup (default)
  • Action Bar
  • Toast Popup
• Custom notification duration
• Custom message format, for example %s has expired!
• Optional sound cue on expiration
• Settings are saved automatically in config

How to Use

1. Install the mod and launch Minecraft.
2. Press O to open the Out of Effects config screen.
3. Enable tracking for the effects you care about.
4. Choose your notification type, duration, text format, and sound setting.
5. Save and play. Notifications appear when tracked effects expire.

• Requires Fabric API
• Default keybind is O and can be changed in Minecraft Controls

Why this mod?

Vanilla gives limited feedback when effects end, especially in high-focus moments. Out of Effects gives clear, minimal, configurable reminders exactly when you need them.
