This is a simple compat between Oritech and Sable, aiming to fix a couple issues that make them difficult to use together.
Sable Oritech Compat
This mod is a simple compat between Sable and Oritech, fixing some issues that make them difficult to use together. Here's the current list of remaining issues:
- Some bugs remain when disassembling a sublevel
- Lasers can sometimes refuse to work if the target is too close
- I think lasers point slightly the wrong way now? Hard to tell.
What does this mod fix?
- Multiblocks stop working after assembly
- Pipes stop working after assembly
- Lasers cannot target sublevels
- Lasers do not function on sublevels
- Various crashes and freezes relating to targetting
- Block placement previews jitter around (possibly dangerous for epilepsy)
- Oritech blocks don't have sounds on sublevels
- It's difficult to route pipes on a sublevel as it can't figure out what side you're clicking
This mod isn't attempting to give proper native support for these mods; instead, the point is to patch Oritech and Sable as a temporary measure while the Sable team works on a native fix.
