Ore Scanner

This datapack adds an ore scanner item that can be thrown like a grenade to highlight nearby ores through walls.

Four scanners can be crafted using 4 iron ingots, 2 glowstone dust, 2 redstone dust, and an eye of ender: !The crafting recipe for 4 ore scanners.

Once crafted, the ore scanner can be thrown by right clicking. It will be thrown about as far as a splash potion: !An ore scanner after being thrown

After the ore scanner lands, a bright light will flash, then all ores within an 8 block radius of where the scanner landed will be highlighted for 15 seconds: !Animated gif of the ore scanner being used
