UPDATE 1.4.0 — THE DAWN OF THE TAILED BEASTS ERA

A massive patch featuring a complete AI overhaul, the long-awaited Tailed Beasts, and major optimization!

New Features:

• The Great Tailed Beasts: ALL 9 Tailed Beasts (Bijuu) have been added to the world! Each beast features unique AI, custom animations, and lore-accurate biome spawning.
• Become a Jinchuriki: A fully functional Tailed Beast sealing mechanic has been introduced. You can now become a Jinchuriki! (Jinchuriki Mode is actively in development and will be fully polished in 1.5.0).
• Akatsuki Voices: Members of the Akatsuki organization now have high-quality, fully voice-acted lines for various gameplay situations (aggro, dealing/receiving damage, victory/death).
• Six Paths Power: The lore-accurate Six Paths Mode has been added, along with new ways to obtain Kekkei Genkai.
• New Scrolls: You can now find scrolls for previously unavailable techniques inside dungeon chests.
• Localization: Added translations for all learnable techniques in the game.
• Future Foundations: Prepared the codebase for upcoming lore characters (Zabuza and Haku are next in line).

Bug Fixes & Changes:

• Akatsuki AI 2.0: Fully rewrote the AI for Akatsuki members (including Pain). Their technique casting is now determined by a combination of combat factors rather than a single parameter.
• Spawn Rates & Adjustments: Tweaked spawn weights for Akatsuki members in the world and fixed spawning bugs for certain members.
• Chibaku Tensei: Completely rebuilt the logic for Pain's gravitational sphere—it now works stably and bug-free.
• Tailed Beast Damage System: Implemented a custom "True HP" system for Tailed Beasts, eliminating vanilla bugs when they take damage.
• Power Limit: The maximum chakra limit for players (without Hashirama cells implantation) has been raised to 25,000 (a +5,000 increase).
• Jutsu Balance: Fixed damage scaling for Rasengan and Chidori—their power now scales correctly.
• Dungeon Loot Overhaul: Completely reworked the loot generation system. Duplicate scroll spam has been removed from chests, and the overall item density has been balanced. (A detailed loot table will be added to the Wiki in the coming days!)
• AI Safety: Akatsuki mobs will no longer aggro on players in Creative or Spectator mode.
• Stability & Crashes:
  • Fixed game crashes triggered when certain Akatsuki members used their techniques.
  • Resolved bugs that caused eye abilities to instantly deactivate.
  • Fixed display and unlocking issues with certain advancements.
  • Cleaned up the console log by removing non-critical warnings and translation errors.

:gear: Technical Optimization:

• Networking 3.0: Started a complete modernization of network packets to minimize ping and latency during technique casting.
• Capability Optimization: Currently reworking player data storage (NinjaData) to reduce server-side load.

:electric_plug: Compatibility:

• Full Backward Compatibility: The mod is fully compatible with all previous versions starting from 1.2.0.
• World Safety: Your save files and existing worlds will not be affected at all by this update—you can safely update your current playthrough!

1. Wiki: I will get to formatting and updating the wiki in the next few days. I'll add comprehensive sections for the Tailed Beasts and plenty of screenshots.
2. Jinchuriki Mode: Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to finish all the planned forms and mechanics for this release. The complete Jinchuriki forms gameplay will be shipped in version 1.5.0!
