• Works with 1.21.5 (latest version will not work with pre-1.21.5)
• All items and fireflies fixed for 1.21.5 changes
• Improved All Items (eg: Fishing Hat also gives Respiration, Armour & Aqua Efficiency)
• Fixed Firefly scale issue (they're now tiny as they're supposed to be)
• Fixed Fishing Hut Waterlogged at Base.
• Improved Fishing Hut, updated Item Frames, Better Lighting. Looks better. Slightly larger.

NOTE: Due to 1.21.5 changes all items have been fixed but the Manual is still broken. Have a fix but not yet implemented. You will have to run functions manually, formatting and click_events will be fixed in future. NOTE: Still need to move away from horrific scheduling, again have fix, will implement soon. NOTE: Alternate version incoming.

These Packs contain scenes, events, bosses, and information based on "The Dark Is A Cold Lonely Shadow".

If you plan to read the books, these are early versions of scenes from the books which are not yet finalised. And some related to books which are years away in the story.

Although there are no major reveals, there are enough with some guesswork to work out major spoilers for the books.

Known Issues / Bugs / Things To Be Fixed

Back up your map first.

• 1.21.5 version have not fixed the manual yet, it works in 1.21.4 but it's broken 1.21.5 due to formatting changes made in that release, so you'll ned to run functions manually for now.

• Not an issue but a lot of this will ONLY work on 1.21 onwards, this will not work (or had not been tested and doubt a lot will work) on previous versions.

• The method's used to clean up the fireflies are not ideal. If causes issues run: execute run kill @e[tag=firefly]

• The firefly particles need fixed.

• This has not been tweaked or tested on multiplayer, running on a server with multiple players has not been catered for yet and will cause issues with current method (this will be resolved by the Arena and scheduler packs in future).

• You will get no fishing loot in some biomes. We have not created custom loot tables here.

• The Fishing Hut is now a full on structure, and is unfinished. It is also designed using custom textures and will look horrific. This is most definitely not finished.

• If inventory full will not work.

• Manual will (should) not work for non-Operators, on the TODO list and will be fixed by Arena and scheduler packs.

• Fireflies have collision

• Particles

• We are aware of a number of other minor issues, and have a list of improvements. These techniques will be abstracted and used for other purposes.

We are moving away from rescheduling functions, and will remove this method later. Running "mxluckyrod:load" should reset. Otherwise run execute run kill @e[tag=firefly] and "schedule clear"

Notes For Alpha / Future / Issues

The video and some screenshots are a combination of all our packs together - some of which are unreleased.

This DOES NOT include the textures seen in the video (bobber / glow squid / firefly / etc)

Steps To Install & Update

Drop the pack into the following folder:

C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\[GameSaveName]\datapacks\mxluckyrod

Note that our videos and screenshots use around 25 packs, some unreleased, this pack does what it says, but does not include some of the other effects, textures, music, shaders, etc...you may see.
