✨ New Features

• Animal Realism:

  • Passive mobs (cows, sheep, pigs, etc.) will now actively seek shelter when it begins to rain. They will try to find a dry spot under trees or player-built structures.
  • This feature can be enabled or disabled in the config.yml under the new animal_realism section.

• Configurable Water Display:

  • You can now choose how the water/thirst level is displayed to the player.
  • In the config.yml, under water-levels.display, you can set the mode to either "actionbar" (the previous default) or "bossbar" to display a dedicated boss bar for thirst.

⚙️ Changes & Improvements

• Expanded Biome Configuration:

  • The config.yml has been updated with extensive lists of hot and cold biomes, covering almost all relevant biomes in vanilla Minecraft for more accurate temperature effects.

• Temperature System Overhaul:

  • Normal Biome Temperature: Neutral biomes now have a default warming effect. The normal rate in the config has been changed from 0.0 to 0.75.
  • Cold Biome Rate: The temperature loss in cold biomes (cold_biome rate) has been increased to match the rate of being in water (-4.0), making them significantly more dangerous.
  • Hot Biome Rate: The temperature gain in hot biomes (hot_biome rate) has been doubled (from 0.75 to 1.5) to make them more challenging.

• Heat Source Detection Rework:

  • More Accurate: The system now checks if heat sources are actually lit or active. This applies to:
    • Campfires & Soul Campfires
    • Furnaces, Smokers, and Blast Furnaces
    • Brewing Stands (must be brewing)
    • Composters (must be actively composting)
  • More Heat Sources: The list of recognized heat sources has been expanded to include:
    • TORCH & WALL_TORCH
    • SOUL_TORCH & SOUL_WALL_TORCH
    • BEACON
  • Heat Radius: The default heat_source_radius has been adjusted to 2 for a better balance between performance and detection range.
