Minecraft But, Chest Drop OP Items

Ever opened a Chest and felt let down by 3 bread and a rotten flesh? Not anymore. This datapack turns every single Chest you break into a loot-box — 3 to 6 random OP items every time, weighted across 5 rarity tiers.

⚠️ Loot follows a strict weighted rarity system — Common < Uncommon < Rare < Epic < Legendary.

Note: any items you actually stored inside the Chest still drop normally on top of this — this only replaces the Chest block's own drop.

🛠️ Installation

1. Download the .zip that matches your Minecraft version — do not extract it.
2. Drop it directly into your world's datapacks folder, or add it from the Data Packs screen when creating a new world.
3. Run /reload if added to an existing world.
4. Break any Chest and see what you get!
