[2.9.0] - 2026-03-28

Added

• Kinetic Discharge — a new enchantment for Elytra (rare, max level 3). Landing on your feet after a fast flight creates a shockwave that knocks back mobs.
• Level 1: 3-block radius, weak knockback.
• Level 2: 5-block radius, moderate knockback.
• Level 3: 7-block radius + 2 damage to all mobs hit. Shockwave has a 10% chance to drain Elytra durability when activated (90% chance to avoid the drain). Passive: During flight, 90% of Elytra durability damage is negated (≈−90% of the drain).
• Trade with the Librarian: Kinetic Discharge I (Tier 4, 28 emeralds), II (Tier 5, 44 emeralds), III (Tier 5, 62 emeralds).

Fixed

• Feedback — This enchantment now fully protects against magic-type damage, including instant damage (arrows and potions of harm). Previously, the shield only blocked persistent negative effects, but instant damage (DamageTypes.MAGIC) was still applied. Now:
• Magic-type damage is canceled by hurt() before it deals damage.
• All active negative effects are cleared.
• Shield durability is partially restored as a block bonus.
