🔍 Overview!

Welcome to the most magical modpack on earth!

Well, not really, MCParks is responsible for most of the magic. My goal with this modpack is to enhance your MCParks experience and make it as enjoyable and issue-free as possible. Optifine is great, but we have reached a point where practically all of MCParks' custom features can be addressed by individual mods. From here, Fabric opens the gates to similar performance on newer versions (more on this below in Technical Details), quality of life additions, and better visuals. The “practically” part is that there are some missing features and bugs, but your experience shouldn’t be affected heavily, and I think the tradeoffs are well worth it! Now, as always, we’re continuing to move forward into the future, and MCParks will update to newer versions of the game (probably not, but one can wish). Currently, incompatible and up-and-coming mods can be used to make improvements. The MCParks Modpack will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world. But to do this, I need your help, whether bug reports, recommendations, or complaints. • Huge view distances to fully take in the work of the builders.
• MCParks' Audio Client automatically opens with your game to make connecting even easier.
• Revamped chat that includes universal emojis, longer history, configurable auto Welcome Home, and configurable macros (G:/sit, H:/fly)!

🛠️ Technical Details!

The minimum RAM allocation is 2GBs; however, I recommend you allocate 4GBs of RAM or more, don't go over 8GBs.

One of the mod pack's primary objectives is to deliver the best possible performance. As a result, many users with mid to high-end machines shouldn't have many problems with the default settings. However, MCParks can be intensive to run on some older machines. If you experience any trouble, please consider…

1. Switching Shaders to VanillAA (If your GPU can't keep up or you don't have a GPU, it's recommended that you try VanillAA, which is very lightweight anyway, before disabling them completely).
2. Lowering Render Distance (The default is 20; if you want the original MCParks experience, set it to 10)
3. Settings Particles to Decreased (MCParks makes use of lots of particles)

How does it compare to MCParks' recommendation of 1.12.2 Optifine? And the primary drawback.

Performance is ultimately very similar to 1.12.2 Optifine, but stutter and 1% lows on the modpack tend to be slightly better, creating a smoother experience than 1.12.2. What is the primary drawback? MCParks' use of voxel models. Unfortunately, 1.18.2's renderer handles these models very poorly, creating situations where performance is significantly worse when many are on screen at once. Fortunately, MCParks doesn't have too many areas where this situation is present, so as long as your system doesn't struggle outside of these intense areas, it should be playable. **I am actively working to mitigate and, hopefully, one day solve this drawback.** If you have experience in this area, help is more than welcome!
