MaxStacks is a lightweight Paper plugin that overrides the max stack size of all stackable items to 99, giving players more inventory breathing room with zero client mods required.

Functionality

In vanilla Minecraft, inventory management can feel tight — especially with items that cap at 16. MaxStacks uses Paper 1.21's native stack size API to cleanly override these limits to 99 without any hacks or workarounds. Toggle it on, and every eligible item in every online player's inventory is updated instantly. Toggle it off, and everything reverts to vanilla defaults automatically.

Installation

MaxStacks is a server-side plugin. Drop it in your plugins folder and restart your server. No configuration files or client installation required.

Disclaimer

MaxStacks targets items with a vanilla max stack of 16 or 64. Unstackable items (tools, armor, etc.) are not affected.
