Magnetic Hopper Chains

This datapack gives hoppers magnetic linking behavior for simplified item transportation systems.

Features

• Hoppers automatically link when placed in straight horizontal lines within 3 blocks of each other
• Links form regardless of hopper facing direction
• Items route toward the nearest valid inventory destination at chain ends
• Items move at twice normal hopper speed through chains
• Chain detection runs every few seconds and marks linked hoppers with particle pulses
• Breaking hoppers causes automatic rerouting through remaining connections
• Chains can branch at intersections with items splitting evenly between paths
• Lightweight detection system uses periodic position checking instead of per-tick scanning
• Uses area effect clouds as invisible markers to track links without constant block scanning
