  Now chainmail, gold, and leather armor all have the same armor points and durability. The main difference between the armors is the bonus stats.

!Chainmail Chainmail armor increases your movement speed. !Chainmail

!chestplate icon Gold armor increases your attack and mining speed. !chestplate icon

!Leather Leather increases the blocks you fall before you take fall damage. !Leather

On top of all of that, chainmail also has a recipe.

(This will be changed in a future version, but currently the only way to get the buffs on armor is by crafting it. Armor found in chests and from villagers will be unchanged.)
