Legions Client
A minecraft QOL mod for the legions.club minecraft server
Legions Client
Legions Client is a client-side Fabric mod made for the Legions Minecraft server. It adds HUD, visual, player visibility, and team communication tools for Legions matches without changing normal gameplay.
The mod keeps Legions-specific features separate from Atomics Client while still integrating with Atomics Client when it is installed.
Features
Rating Nametags
Shows Legions rating tags from the tab list on player nametags, such as [1.8] or [?], so ratings are easier to see during matches.
When Atomics Client is installed, Legions Client can replace Atomics tier text with Legions rating text to avoid duplicate or conflicting nametag displays.
Player Highlights and Outlines
Adds player outlines based on teams, pings, and spectator status.
- Pinged players are highlighted
- Enemy outlines can be enabled for opponents
- Spectators can see active players outlined by team color
- Team detection uses Minecraft scoreboard teams
Team HUD
Shows your current team on screen using your scoreboard team.
The Team HUD is enabled by default and can be moved with the layout screen.
Team Count Overlay
Adds a movable Teams Left overlay that shows active teams and player counts.
- Groups players by scoreboard team
- Ignores spectator teams
- Uses team colors when possible
- Can be moved with the layout screen
- Helps prevent duplicate team count overlays when Atomics Client is also installed
Custom Team Ping System
Legions Client now has a customizable ping system instead of only using fixed ping behavior.
You can create multiple ping rows and choose how each ping works.
Custom ping options include:
- Keyboard or mouse input
- Number of presses required
- Crosshair target pings
- Last player who attacked you
- Last player you attacked
- Self pings
- Teammate-only targets
- Enemy-only targets
- All-player targets
- Block/location targets
- Custom chat messages
- Custom ping colors
- Visual audience settings
- Copy/delete row controls
The default setup keeps the original behavior:
- Press
Gonce while looking at a player to ping that player - Press
Gtwice to ping the block/location you are looking at
Default player ping messages include:
Focus PlayerNamePlayerName needs help!
Default block pings use:
Go to x y z
Custom Ping Messages
Ping messages can be edited per ping row.
Player pings support placeholders like:
{sender}{player}
Block pings support placeholders like:
{sender}{x}{y}{z}
The visible chat message stays readable for everyone, including players who do not use Legions Client.
Legions Client also adds a compact ping payload so other Legions Client users can highlight the correct target.
Ping Colors and Visual Audience
Each custom ping row can have its own color.
The selected color is sent with the ping and can affect:
- Player highlights
- Block outlines
- Ping particles
- Distance labels
Each ping row also has a visual audience option:
- Teammates only
- Opponents only
- Everyone
This only controls who sees the visual Legions Client highlight. It does not hide the normal chat message.
Spectators using Legions Client can see all valid visual pings, which helps them follow the action.
Ping Highlights
When a valid Legions Client ping is received, the target is highlighted for a short time.
- Highlights pinged players
- Highlights pinged blocks and locations
- Shows block outlines for location pings
- Can show distance labels for block pings
- Uses custom ping colors
- Ping duration can be changed in the config
Recent Target Pings
Legions Client can remember recent combat targets for custom pings.
This allows ping rows to target:
- The last player who attacked you
- The last player you attacked
The recent target timeout is configurable, with a default of 15 seconds.
Player Visibility
Legions Client can reduce clutter in larger fights.
- Keeps teammates visible
- Can show only the nearest opponents
- Opponent limit is adjustable from 1 to 20
- Pinged players stay visible while highlighted
- Optional render optimization can hide far-away players past a configurable distance
Clearer End Rod Particles
Makes end rod-style particles easier to see while playing on Legions by using a clearer custom texture and brighter rendering.
Atomics Dual Spectate Support
When Atomics Client is installed, Legions Client adds extra support for Atomics Dual Spectate while spectating on Legions.
- Adds lock controls to Atomics Dual Spectate player fields
- Can lock spectate to a chosen player
- Helps pick a useful second player for the camera
- Adjusts camera behavior for a clearer locked spectate view
- Restores Atomics Dual Spectate settings when unlocked
Atomics Client Compatibility
Legions Client is designed to work alongside Atomics Client.
When Atomics Client is installed, Legions Client adds its settings into the Atomics-style module screen instead of using a separate config keybind.
Compatibility features include:
- Atomics-style Legions module section
- Legions rating replacement for Atomics tier text
- Duplicate team count overlay prevention
- Atomics Dual Spectate lock support
- Atomics keybind category support when available
If Atomics Client is not installed, Legions Client uses its own config menu.

Notes
Legions Client is fully client-side.
It does not add server-side mechanics, automation, or gameplay-changing abilities. The mod focuses on clearer visuals, better team awareness, cleaner spectating, and easier communication during Legions games.
Most features only run on configured Legions server addresses. By default, the allowed server list matches servers containing legions.
