Initial public release of kʊɹs'd, a Fabric mod that replaces conventional loot progression with procedurally generated artifacts that modify core gameplay systems.
Overview
kʊɹs'd introduces a new loot system:
- Equipment behaves as rule-altering artifacts
- Effects are hidden, layered, and context-dependent
- Power comes with tradeoffs, instability, and interaction effects Artifacts are generated dynamically from loot tables and modified by internal trait systems.

Artifact system
- Procedurally generated items ("bekʊɹs'd items" / artifacts)
- Multiple hidden traits per artifact
- Intensity scaling affecting strength of effects
Loot integration
Artifacts are injected into loot tables via:
- kursd_base item definitions (mods can very well implement their own definitions for compatibility)
- conditional loot functions
- probabilistic artifact application per eligible item Not all loot becomes bekʊɹs'd, only items that pass definition filters have a set chance to bekʊɹs'd.
