KnightTowns – Raid System Update
Major Feature: Town Raids
Towns can now be attacked by random raid events, forcing players to defend their land against waves of hostile mobs.
Added
Random Town Raids
- Raids can automatically start against a random town.
- Only towns with claimed chunks and online members can be targeted.
Multiple Raid Waves
- Raids occur in 3 waves of enemies.
- Each wave increases mob count and difficulty.
Raid Difficulty System
- EASY
- NORMAL
- HARD
- Difficulty affects:
- mob strength
- mob count
- XP rewards
Custom Raid Mobs
- Zombies, Skeletons, Pillagers, Spiders
- Hard raids may spawn Vindicators and Witches
- Custom mob names like:
- Undead Zombie
- Vengeful Skeleton
- Elite Pillager
Raid BossBar
- Displays current wave and remaining mobs
- Updates live during the raid
Town Defender Rewards
- Players who participate receive XP rewards
- Non-town players helping defend can also earn rewards
Contributor Tracking
- Players who damage raid mobs are tracked as contributors.
Configuration
Config options:
raids:
enabled: true
interval_ticks: 144000
- enabled – enable or disable random raids
- interval_ticks – time between raid attempts (Default: 144000 ticks = ~2 hours)
Admin Controls
- Admins can force start/stop raids if needed.
- All active raid mobs will be removed when a raid is stopped.
