Gameplay
- Added in-game configuration for natural demon spawning, including spawn selection, placement attempts, variant weights, exclusive demon spawning, and the option to disable natural demon spawns entirely.
- Added a reusable configurable Kimetsu spawner with mob selection, spawn timing and counts, adjustable ranges, spawn rules, persistence, and configured block copies.
- Speed now also increases jump height, reaching roughly 2.5-block jumps at 12 points.
- Vitality now also slows hunger drain: each point increases the exhaustion needed to lose a food or saturation point (configurable per-point curve, +10% per point by default, up to 2.2x slower at 12 points).
- Small balance tweaks to a few Flame techniques.
Items
- Added spawn eggs for the mod's Slayer NPCs and demons, available in the creative inventory. The set covers Giyu, Rengoku, generic Water and Flame slayers, and the weak, normal, strong, and random demon variants.
Animation
- Technique animations now blend smoothly into one another and back into movement, instead of snapping.
- Slayer NPC technique animations now match the player's much more closely.
- Reworked the Water Breathing technique animations for both players and Slayer NPCs, with smoother, more accurate motion.
- Added smoother running and basic attack animations for players.
- Player run animation speed now scales slightly with unlocked Speed points.
Controls and UI
- Added a stamina bar that replaces the vanilla experience bar (and its number) while combat mode is active, colored after your breathing style, with a percentage or raw value readout.
- The Integrated combat HUD now draws the skill slots in vanilla hotbar frames (slightly larger, no gaps) with the ability icons inside.
- Integrated HUD with the new stamina bar is now the default combat HUD.
Fixes
- Gameplay, technique, internal, and NPC profile configs are now server-authoritative in multiplayer, with live re-sync after
/kc configedits and server-side Rengoku overcharge validation. - Demon kills finished by fall damage, fire, or another mob during the execution grace window now award XP to the player who last opened or refreshed that window.
- Fixed technique animations not transitioning smoothly in some cases.
- Fixed Slayer NPCs snapping back to their idle or running pose at the end of basic attacks and techniques, instead of settling smoothly.
- Fixed Slayer NPCs occasionally interrupting their own attacks to start a technique.
- Fixed Slayer NPCs and demons landing basic attacks at the wrong time — during a technique or combo (including between combo hits), while the technique animation is still finishing, or while rooted or in stasis.
- Fixed Slayer NPCs and demons sometimes getting stuck floating in mid-air when rooted or held by stasis, instead of staying grounded and falling normally.
- Fixed losing all player progression (breathing style, level, stats, techniques, rank) when returning to the Overworld through the End exit portal after defeating the Ender Dragon.
Dependencies
- Player Animator and Bendy Lib are now required dependencies. Minecraft shows a clear missing-dependency screen instead of loading the mod without player animations.
- AAA Particles and Architectury API are now required dependencies on both client and server. AAA Particles 2.x is rejected with a clear error, since it is incompatible with this mod's version.
