Kills-effect

Kills-Effect is a combat plugin that adds special hit-effects to weapons. Players can obtain “Effect Scrolls” from the admin GUI and combine them with their sword inside an anvil. When combined, the sword gains a new lore line that activates the effect during combat.

Each effect has its own chance, particles, sounds, and status effects. The plugin only triggers effects on real weapon hits (not spam-clicking), using Minecraft’s built-in attack cooldown to ensure fairness.

Available Effects

Lightning — Strikes the target with a lightning effect, deals bonus damage, applies short fire, and gives a brief Wither effect.

Hearts — Steals hearts from the target, heals the attacker, and applies Poison + Nausea to the victim.

Darkness — Inflicts Darkness, Slowness, Weakness, and broken-heart style particles.

Rage — Buffs the attacker with Strength, Speed, and Resistance for a short duration.

Key Features

Effects are added through anvil merging using scroll items.

A dedicated command /killeffect opens an admin-only GUI that gives scrolls.

Effect chances, names, items, and scroll info are fully configurable.

Spam-clicking never triggers effects — only proper cooldown hits count
