🚀 Getting Started

Getting started with Keychain is simple.

1. Install Keychain

Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for your supported Minecraft version. Download Keychain and place the mod file inside your Minecraft mods folder.

2. Open Keychain

Launch Minecraft and click the Keychain button on your main menu or pause menu.

3. Add Your Accounts

Select Add Online to connect your Microsoft account through your browser, or choose Add Offline to create an offline profile.

4. Switch Instantly

Select an account from your saved account list and switch without restarting Minecraft.

🛡️ Security & Privacy

Keychain is built with security and privacy in mind.

Microsoft authentication takes place through your browser using Microsoft's official authentication service. Keychain uses the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code flow with PKCE rather than asking you to enter your password directly into the mod.

Saved authentication tokens are encrypted locally, and the authentication callback server is restricted to your own computer.

Keychain does not require you to create a separate account with the developer.

Important: Local encryption adds protection but cannot guarantee security against malware or someone with access to your running computer. Never share your Minecraft account files or authentication tokens.
