KeyBinder

A Minecraft Fabric mod that lets you bind custom key combinations to chat messages and commands. Perfect for quick access to frequently used messages or commands.

Features

Key Binding

• Bind key combinations with modifiers (Ctrl, Shift, Alt)
• Support for standard keys, function keys, and special keys
• Duplicate key detection

Repeat Mode

• One time execution or continuous repeat while holding the key
• Configurable delay (milliseconds, ticks, or seconds)

Usage

Opening Configuration

• Press K to open the configuration screen

Adding Keybinds

1. Click "+ Add Keybind"
2. Click the key field and press your desired key combination
3. Enter your message or command
4. (Optional) Enable repeat mode and set delay
5. Click "Save"

Keybind Format

• Single key: A, 1, F1
• With modifiers: Ctrl+A, Shift+1
• Special keys: Space, Enter, Tab
• Numpad: Numpad0 through Numpad9

Repeat Mode

• Once: Execute once per key press
• Repeat: Execute while key is held
  • Delay: Time between executions
  • Units: ms, ticks, or seconds

Examples

Chat Messages

• Ctrl+H → "Hello!"
• F1 → "/gamemode creative"

Commands

• F2 → "/weather clear"
• Ctrl+R → "/kill @e[type=type]"

Troubleshooting

• If a keybind doesn't work:
  • Check for duplicate keys
  • Try a different key combination
• If the mod doesn't load:
  • Verify Fabric API version
  • Check game logs
