Inventory Organizer 1.4.2 For Minecraft 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2 (Fabric).

A big quality-of-life release. The built-in groups (Weapons, Blocks, Food…) are now real, editable, complete groups you can rank and customize like any other; a brand-new customizable HUD lets you lay out on-screen info yourself; the in-game Guide is fully localized; and warehouse / storage sorting now works correctly with every group. Plus a smarter auto-refill, foldable rank sections, and security hardening.

Built-in groups are now real groups Previously the built-in groups (Weapons, Tools, Armor, Blocks, Food, and 17 more) were invisible internal matchers — you couldn't see them in the Groups screen, couldn't rank them against each other, and editing them did nothing. Now all 22 are genuine custom groups:

They appear in the Groups screen — open any one to add or remove items by hand. They show up in Tier Order, so you can drag to decide which item wins a slot over another. They behave exactly like a hand-made group everywhere: slot rules, auto-refill, chest refill, storage sorting and the warehouse. This is a one-time automatic conversion on first launch. Groups you delete stay deleted, and anything you hand-edit is never overwritten.

Group contents rebuilt to match what you'd expect Instead of fragile name-guessing, the groups are now built from the game's own data and a clear rule per group, so they're complete and accurate (modded items that use the right tags are covered too):

Blocks — only full, solid blocks you can't walk through (stone, sand, wood, glass, ores…). Slabs, stairs, fences, plants, saplings, torches, carpets and edibles are intentionally excluded (they have their own groups). Tools — mining tools (pickaxe/axe/shovel/hoe) plus the broad set of "right-click to use" items: ender pearl, ender eye, all buckets, lead, name tag, saddle, spyglass, goat horn, bundle, compass, clock, maps, books, firework rocket, totem, and more. Weapons — serious-damage gear: swords, axes, bows, crossbows, tridents and the mace. Armor — every wearable piece, plus elytra and shield. Nether — everything that comes from the Nether: its blocks and items like blaze rods, blaze powder, ghast tears, magma cream, glowstone dust, nether stars and nether wart. End — everything from the End: its blocks and items like shulker shells, dragon's breath, end crystals, chorus fruit and dragon heads. Food uses the game's food component; Logs, Boats, Arrows use the matching item tags; Stone, Ores, Plants, Redstone, Partial blocks, Cooked/Raw food, Potions, Splash potions, Utility, Valuables and Creative are all curated to their categories. Warehouse & storage sorting now work with groups This is the headline fix. A chest assigned a group rule (e.g. a "Blocks chest") now correctly attracts the right items when you sort a warehouse link or a storage profile — the server resolves group membership with the same authoritative data the client uses to build the group, so what you see in a group is exactly what gets routed. Storage profile sorting was also fixed so group slots pull their items instead of being filled with leftovers.

A customizable HUD you arrange yourself A new HUD screen (under Special settings) with a live preview on the left and toggles on the right. Everything starts off — turn on only what you want, then drag each element wherever you like. Positions are stored as a fraction of the screen, so they stay put across resolution and window changes.

Elements you can place:

Combat indicator — the fight-mode countdown, at the spot you choose (still only shows in real combat). Mini-inventory — your 27 main slots in a compact 9×3 grid, with item counts. Worn set + offhand — helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots and offhand as a column or a row, with an optional vanilla-style durability bar on each piece. Auto-refill: now toggleable Auto-refill (restocking your held item from your inventory) can now be switched on/off two ways, both tied to the same setting:

A new keybind (assign it in Controls) with an on-screen confirmation. A button in the Special settings screen. Tier Order: foldable sections With 22+ groups now listed, the Tier Order right panel groups everything into collapsible sections (▶/▼), all closed by default — click a header to open it, then drag items inside to set priority. No more endless scrolling.

Localized in-game Guide The whole feature guide — every section — now displays in your game's language across all nine supported languages (English, Magyar, Deutsch, Español, Français, 中文, 日本語, Русский, Português), and includes new sections covering the points above.

Smaller fixes & polish Full-inventory reminder added where you configure slots, with a note that sorting works best on a light, tidy inventory (a full inventory may not place everything perfectly). It no longer overlaps the storage tabs. Storage tab highlight fixed — the selected tab is now outlined instead of being painted over (its label stays readable). Group icons in the rule pickers now show a meaningful icon instead of a generic chest. Category accuracy — brewing and mob-drop items (dragon's breath, blaze rod, etc.) no longer leak into the Blocks group. Inline help text wraps cleanly and never spills out of its panel. Security Reveal-on-open hardening. A hacked client could previously probe which warehouse links existed by guessing coordinates. Foreign links are now only revealed if you were actually standing at the chest, so nobody can map out another player's storage they never visited. Your own links are unaffected. All server-side group matching uses only the game's own data — it never trusts client config — keeping the dedicated-server authority boundary intact. Developer commands In single-player (or from the server console with a player name), /InOr developer prints a live summary of the mod's current state and /InOr disk dumps the saved config for inspection. Both are private to the issuing player.

Notes The HUD is purely cosmetic and client-side. All automatic features still only run in "Free" mode (single player, LAN, Realms, Aternos, or a server you've whitelisted) and stay off on normal public servers.
