Hollow Monuments
Ancient stone pillars spawn throughout the world with hollow cores containing buried loot. These weathered columns dot landscapes like forgotten survey markers from a lost civilization.
Hollow Monuments
Generates tall, narrow stone brick pillars that spawn rarely across all overworld biomes. Each pillar stands between 8-15 blocks tall and appears partially buried in terrain, emerging at natural angles.
Structure
Pillars feature a hollow vertical shaft running through the center, accessible only by breaking through the base or digging down from the top. A single hidden chest inside contains modest loot scaled to the biome:
- Plains: cartography supplies
- Mountains: raw ores
- Forests: basic tools
Construction uses weathered stone variants mixed with mossy stone bricks and occasional cracked blocks to appear aged. Foundation blocks extend below ground level for structural grounding rather than floating placement.
Generation
Lightweight generation using simple pillar templates with randomized height and slight rotation variance. Structures are subtle exploration rewards—visible on the horizon but require minor effort to access their contents.
No magical elements, special effects, or fantasy mechanics. Simply old remnants scattered across the world for investigation.
