Forestry should be completely fixed. All bee products can be processed and utilized. Missing frame recipes were added in, disabled machine items have been moved. Couldn't disable the Centrifuge, but it's now craftable at the Engineer's Table.

Fixed new world error message about missing blocks

Changed almost all the guide books to be crafted at a Scribe's table. You'll need some scribing tools and a witch's hand to write it. No more free knowledge. Somebody else will have to tell you.

Removed Artisan Knives. Now you use the knives from Roots or Mystical World.

Started working on conflicting recipes. For things like blocks or nuggets, the center item will determine what mod the result will be for. So, 8 Embers' Silver Ingots around a Thaumcraft Silver Ingot makes a Thaumcraft Silver block
Currently finished:

  • Lead
  • Silver
  • Sapphire

Changed the recipe for the Chisel Lab Block to use soap instead. Scrub the stone hard enough and it'll shine

Set up a script so different honey buckets can be converted to other honeys

Fixed the candle script. Any beeswax can be used for making a candle, bulk candle dye now produces 8 candles

Added a tooltip to Ember's Tinker Hammer, because the book doesn't tell you how to use it

Swapped Steve's Carts for Railcraft. Steve's did more than I wanted and was wildly complex. That and I uh... Just really wanted an excuse to not use Railcraft... And my excuses weren't good enough. But, keeping to the spirit of the pack, I purged almost all electric things from Railcraft. In compensation, I'll add a recipe for Perpetuum Locomotive, later. And, fix anything that gets broken because of this decision...

Swapped Steve's Carts for Railcraft, because i've been trying to avoid using Railcraft for reason... But I can't help it... I want it
Swapped Stygian End for The Lamented Islands. Spent a good hour running around in the end and couldn't find anything related to Stygian, hence the swap.

I got very much distracted and went through every page of both CurseForge and Modrinth, and I just could not resist adding more mods... Luckily, the pack still runs rather well on low-end computers. Reccommend about 6gb of ram.

Content Creator (by fullskele) [MIT] : Another scripting mod to be utilized later. This one expands the content tweaker possibilities to plants, fences, bows I think, maybe new enchantments?

Removed

Took out Chisel and Bits. Seems redundent when we have Armourer's Workshop. You can build models with that and then create a custom block with that. Much easier. Sorry, fairies

There were a couple mods that got switched to a legacy version that'll get more updates, since 1.12.2 is just so great. The ones that I remember switching to have an = next to them

Script Updates (Many):

Artisan Workstations:

  • Each station is now craftable, but most likely doesn't have any recipes to use yet. (Recipes may be reworked later)
  • Anything cloth or clothing related hasbeen moved to the Tailor Table. Some of them overcomplicated. But, you have a chance to get some material back
  • All of the slaughtercraft carcasses can be processed on the Chef tables for a realistic amount of meat. Might get 40 to 50 steaks from a cow!
  • Most guides will be getting moved to the Scribe tables, with complex recipes to follow. Doesn't make much sense for you to write a boo when you don't know what's going on
  • Most flowers can be crafted with some Artisan cutters to get petals. Botania flowers aren't that hard to find...

Chocobo:

  • All armors that don't have materials have been removed
  • All armors are hidden in JEI
  • All armor types now have a stamp recipe using the Potter's Table. The same pattern, a tool, and now you have a stamp.
  • Crafting of Chocobo armors now involves the use of the Stamper and molten materials.
  • The saddle bag is crafted fully enchanted now

TiCon/Embers:

  • Added the missing ingot recipes to the stamper
  • Removed the clay cast table. Now you need a raw stamp and a copy of the tool head put into the stamper. Should work with any of the materials, but most folks will start with wood or bone or something simple.
  • The smeltery is now locked behind Ember's Alchemy. You'll need a brain to make the brain for your smelter.

Forestry/MagicBees/MoreBees

  • Since the centrifuge is on the way out, combs can be cut open on the chef table and-
  • Propolis can be processed with an Ex Sartagine kettle

Thaumcraft:

  • The spinning wheel from Thaumcraft was removed
  • All spinning wheel, and cloth in general, recipes have been moved to Witchery's spinning wheel.

Tree Spirit

  • Added tooltips to all of the Tree Spirit items. No need for a wiki.

Misc.

  • Added a currency. Uses Tree Spirit Essence and electrum. Only use currently is for Defender contracts. But feel free to throw them at your friends!
  • Added a tooth (unobtainable)
  • Added Peyo! (unobtainable)

Some mods were updated, although I've lost track of which ones

Also there's a bug. If you try to change the volume in game, you'll get a crash.

...No idea why...

Changes

  • Added the Chocobo guide book to the Guides script (so now you can just search Guide and find it)
  • Changed the Steelworks script to use TiCon's molten steel instead
  • Steel Block is now a block
  • Fixed the steel blend texture
  • Hopefully fixed the names of content tweaker items?
  • Changed the recipe for Chocobo Saddlebags. I refuse to waste time trying to enchant a bag with Efficiency for a new row of storage...
  • Changed the name of the CFM 'bin' to trash can because it annoyed me and I can >:D
  • Finished the modernizing of all of CFM's furniture. A lot of it is overpowered so now it all uses steel and some of it is significantly harder to craft. You wanna be modern? Work for it

Additions

  • Added recipes for the Chocobo Elementium items (because surely someone wants their new friends decked out in pink metal)
  • Added tooltips for all the carcasses so you'll know what to do with them.
  • Added Chisel Variant Hider for steel, and brownstone slabs/stairs
  • Added tooltips to all of the carcasses from Slaughtercraft

Removals

  • Removed all Artisan and Chocobo items we don't have materials for(Desh, titanium, boron, Constantan)
  • Purged all of the Artisan tools we don't have materials for

WIP

  • Started working on conflicts
  • Started working on recipes for processing carcasses in a Chef's table. Currently only chickens, pigs, sheep, slime, and squids.
  • Started working on liquid dyes. Only 4 are craftable, and they don't have a use yet. All 16 colors exist if you're in creative mode though...

Life kinda got in the way of updates...

And I'm honestly not even sure of what all I've added anymore. I know last update I said I wasn't going to add any more mods, but then I found a few I couldn't live without. And while actually playing, I found a couple here that were kinda broken or were just too much.

And quite a few of the additions need to be tweaked, and JEI is cluttered with junk.

So we're releasing this as a beta update. It's playable, but JEI is full of junk, and I'll get to that on the next update. I can't stand seeing 90+ pages of things that can't be used for anything...

Moving on, most mods that can be updated have been. Most mods with a new author giving the 1.12.2 version an extended life have been converted.

Chisel items are now hidden, blocks in the chiselgroup now show the number of variants, I.E. instead of seeing 38 kinds of stone, you'll just see one stone block with "Chisel: 38 Variants!"

JEI Blacklist has been incorporated. Items without a crafting recipe in survival are hidden from view to cut back on JEI clutter and hopefully improve loadtimes there. This includes: Tinker tools/parts, Enchanted Books, Spawn Eggs, Several liquid types, Known unobtainable items

Wormwood sapling added to Sapling OreDict

Many recipes that used to require Living Stone are getting redone 'cause that was dumb...

EasyScales.zs replaced. Instead you can summon your very own dragon egg. Color change options to be added later, if i can divine a recipe for that, but for now, since you're required to beat Blood Magic, it's red

Did some other script stuff i forgot to record, messed with some recipes, cleaned things up. Things are sorted by mod item produced belongs to now, instead of mysterious and vague things like "breathing life into sticks..." Maybe i can do that later...
