Helpful Tips

Original version. Includes these tips:

• You're standing on a(n) [block]!
• You're currently in the dimension [dim]!
• There are [n] hostile mobs nearby.
• You're in [gamemode] mode!
• Dying is bad! (when low on health)
• There's a [entity]!
• There's a(n) [block] below/above you!
• [player] is [n] blocks away from you!

The distance calculation (to the other player in the last tip) is relatively complicated and works across dimensions. Dimensions are assumed to be 8000 blocks apart.
