Hardcore Revive

Hardcore Revive is a datapack designed to make hardcore multiplayer servers more fun and less frustrating. Instead of players being perma-locked out of your server when they die, Hardcore Revive introduces a vanilla-friendly way to revive your friends without erasing too much of the hardcore experience.

All you need to bring a friend back to life is 8 candles, 9 gold blocks, a wither skeleton skull and a diamond block!

Simply place down 9 gold blocks in a 3 by 3 pattern, a wither skeleton skull in the center, and candles on the sides. Name the diamond block to your friend's EXACT username (not case sensitive).

Now just drop the diamond block onto the wither skeleton skull and your friend will magically be re-summoned to keep playing.

The materials required for the revival are carefully chosen to scale with your server's progression. If you are early into the game, you'll find it hard to gather the resources needed to revive someone. However, once players are able to gather items quicker, revives will become a lot more common. It's better to be careful until late game, otherwise you might be waiting a while.

Hardcore Revive is updated at the discretion of the developer. Future updates and ports to past/future versions may happen, but nothing is guaranteed.
