Happy Ghast Tiers

Expands Minecraft’s Happy Ghasts with a fully upgradeable harness system, allowing players to give their Happy Ghasts a much-needed speed boost in a way that feels natural to vanilla gameplay.

Harnesses can be upgraded through multiple tiers(VanillaLeather, Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite), with each tier providing a small but noticeable increase to flying speed.

Upgrades can be applied sequentially, or players may craft Reinforced Upgrades to skip directly to a desired tier. Players craft the initial harness just like in vanilla. Players can even still dye vanilla harnesses like normal, but once a vanilla harness is upgraded, its color becomes locked to prevent Minecraft from accidentally overriding the custom NBT data of upgraded harnesses. Every future upgrade automatically preserves harness color.

Netherite-tier harnesses & upgrades are fireproof, behaving like vanilla Netherite items when dropped into lava or fire.

Other features:

• Happy Ghasts with no rider will be slowed automatically to default speeds
• Happy Ghast Treats can be crafted with snowballs and blaze powder
  • Treats provide a temporary boost just like rockets do for the elytra

Planned Update:

• Custom Enchantment granting a 5% flying speed bonus per level (I–III)

This enchantment is planned for a future release. It has been intentionally delayed while the core Minecraft mechanics remain experimental and subject to refinement. Once added to the base game, I'll be adding a custom enchantment for the harnesses

Stretch Goals:

• Add the ability to dye upgraded tiers from one color to another
• Add an in-game Admin config to toggle if Harnesses are chest loot instead of craftable
• Add an in-game Admin config that allows for custom tier speeds
• Add more variants and 3D model harnesses (a texture pack rework. I'm not an artist)
