0.0.7 — 世界の声 Sekai no Koe, "The Voice of the World"

The biggest update yet. A whole new look, the anime's great moments as real scenes, a sense that lets you feel how strong everything around you is, and the Voice of the World speaking to the whole server.

The first time you press G, a What's new page sums it all up in game.

A new face for the Sage (shader rendering)

On by default. /gamerule sageShaderRendering false brings back the classic look, untouched.

• The Sage's console replaces the menu: a living icosahedron, hexagonal sections, every page redrawn.
• Every announce is redrawn, scaled to your GUI scale.
• The ceremonies are full-screen scenes, each with its own ambience: Harvest Festival, Demon Lord Seed, Hero Egg, True Hero, and the True Demon Lord awakening as the ultimate finale.
• You can't be hurt or pushed while a scene plays, even mid-bridge.
• Raphael's evolution was rebuilt from scratch, shot by shot on episode 35.
• Skill fusion: when skills merge into a Unique or an Ultimate, they slam into your screen as anime skill cards (vertical kanji, ユニークスキル and all), the screen shatters, and the shards come back together as the new skill. Works with any addon.
• The Sea of Souls: a brand new reincarnation scene, drawn above a lake of souls under the stars.
• Shaders are warmed up a few seconds after you join a world: no more freeze before an animation.

Naming, as a cutscene

• Name a monster and the camera pulls to the side: your magicules flow into it, and it lights up as it absorbs them. Then the camera comes back and the Sage reports the name it was given.
• If the monster evolves, the Voice of the World confirms it with its new species.
• A player who gets named by another player sees it from their side.
• Turn it off with namingScene in the client config.

Thought Acceleration (H, or by voice)

Needs the Great Sage or Tensura's Thought Acceleration.

• The world freezes into cold colors, sounds drag down and your heartbeat takes over. Incoming projectiles show their whole path, in red if they're going to hit you.
• Solo: the whole world slows ×5 while your camera stays free. Multiplayer: a 20-block bubble around you slows creatures and projectiles (other players aren't affected).
• 6 s, 40 s cooldown, slowdown: all three are in the common config.

Magic Sense (N, or by voice)

Needs a sense skill such as Magic Sense, Universal Perception or the All-Seeing Eye.

• See the aura of every being, shaped like its body. Its color follows its alignment: violet Majin, white-gold Hero, red Chaos, green neutral.
• Its size follows its EP and keeps growing. A goblin barely glows; past a million EP the flames tower above the body, with lightning. A massive aura in the distance means run.
• The aimed being's name and EP, and arrows at the edge of the screen for threats you can't see.
• Range, max count, brightness and see-through-walls are in Settings.

The Voice of the World

• It speaks to the whole server. When someone awakens as a True Demon Lord, starts the Harvest Festival or awakens as a True Hero, everyone hears it, with a banner at the top of the screen. Gamerule and client setting worldVoice. Try it with /greatsage worldvoice test <event>.
• Tensura's Rimuru mode gets a narrated birth, shot by shot on episode 1. Try it with /sagescene rimuru.

Reincarnation

• Draw with as many strokes as you want, then Validate (or Enter). Right-click removes your last stroke.
• Many new figures to discover. How many? Good luck.
• The figure → skill table reshuffles every reincarnation (resets and prestige included).
• Addon Unique skills can show up, the ones listed in Tensura's own reincarnation config (that's where addons put the Uniques meant to be obtainable). New common config reincarnationAddonUniques (TENSURA_LIST, ALL, NONE) and reincarnationExcludedSkills (an id, or a whole mod with modid:*).
• Tensura's reset counter is respected: you get every Unique Tensura owes you on top of your wish.
• There's a secret in the race selection screen. Old school gamers will know what to type.

Great Sage grows faster

• Experience x1.5 (growthXpMultiplier in the common config).
• Defeating a species for the first time counts as observing it.
• Appraisal: items you hold for the first time teach the Sage something, more for rarer items.
• The growth curve follows your modpack, and the last level is actually reachable.
• Analysis opens locked modes (Sloth, Black Lightning…).
• Server admins: /greatsage xp <player> info | add | set | level.

Assess

• Shows where your target stands on the awakening ladder (Demon Lord Seed, True Demon Lord, Hero Egg, True Hero, blessed), in red if already awakened, and its alignment.
• Bubbles stay on their mobs when you fly or sprint.

Gamerules

• needGreatSage is now announcementsRequireGreatSage. Same thing: it only decides who gets the announcements. (A value set on the old name goes back to its default.)
• New: requireGreatSage (on by default). Turn it off and every player can use the G menu, assess, voice commands and analyses without the Great Sage skill.

Languages

• Korean, Vietnamese, Turkish and Brazilian Portuguese: subtitles, menus and voice commands. English plus six translations in total (French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Turkish, Vietnamese).
• Kanji for addon skills (katakana for the ones we don't know).

Compatibility

• FoxAblaze Ultimate: its Raphael counts as the Sage.
• Date a Slime: angels are announced as Ultimate skills with their real title.
• New voice commands: "toggle battle mode", "what damage buffs do I have", and for TR Nightmare "evolve " / "how do I evolve ".

Fixes

• Reincarnation handed out special addon Uniques (dragon bonds, trnightmares:sentient…).
• With TR Nightmares, reincarnation resistances were almost always Nuclear or Void Resistance.
• Always getting Water Blade and Magic Jamming as wishes; no Unique after Skip; race reset giving free skills.
• Unlearned skills (negative mastery) showing up.
• Clicking a sealed skill class said "you do not carry Great Sage": it now tells you to open it in the Growth tree.
• The Sage's text bubble covered the pages; menu buttons were too small.
• Auras stuck in a capsule shape with some mods.
• "What damage buffs do I have" listing resistances.
• Voice commands failed with microphones that refuse 16 kHz ("line with format … not supported"): the mod now opens whatever format the microphone accepts.
• The menu's background hum was much too loud.
