Most of the monsters you will face against will have increased stats (hp and damage) that vary based on the mob. Here's a list of all the mobs with modified stats:

• All zombie variants
• All baby zombies
• Blazes
• All skeleton variants
• All spiders
• Endermen
• Piglins
• Piglin brutes (also have armor)
• Vindicators
• Evokers

Here is a list of all the monsters that can spawn as captains and their rare drops:

• Skeletons: golden great sword (+1 attack range)
• Strays and bogged: iron great sword (+1 attack range)
• Whiter skeletons: gilded netherite leggings (piglins won't attack you)
• Vindicators: great iron axe (+1 attack range)
• Drowned (all drowned with tridents now are captains): trident
