A vanilla-friendly worldgen mod that adds large, handcrafted farm fields to plains biomes. Complete with access roads, fences, and irrigation ditches, these structures seamlessly blend into the landscape to make the overworld feel truly inhabited.
Install on the server. Client installation is optional (vanilla clients can join and explore the generated fields seamlessly). Singleplayer note: Works perfectly in singleplayer. Just install it normally in your mods folder.

Tuning for modpack authors: The mod ships its worldgen as a regular Minecraft datapack inside the jar, so anything you can tweak in a datapack you can override with your own datapack at higher priority:
data/fields/worldgen/structure_set/fields.json (spacing, separation, salt).data/fields/tags/worldgen/biome/field_biomes.json. Default is conservative (plains family). Add minecraft:meadow, minecraft:sunflower_plains, etc. for wider coverage.data/fields/worldgen/template_pool/field/start.json. Higher weight = that variant is picked more often.
