Faithful Backrooms
Adding and integrating the vast expanse of the Backrooms into Minecraft.
Список изменений
What's been added?
Immersive Portal integration; exits are no longer clickable blocks, but smooth transitions between dimensions that feel like walking from room to room. Remembered People; by copying in your local Minecraft skins folder, you'll be able to see Remembered versions of people you've seen in-game before. Some are hostile; some are aggressive; some walk around aimlessly. Remembered Villagers; currently only findable in Level 0, the Backrooms remembers the occasional village and their people. Level 6 remake; now with far more unstable and unpredictable generation, Level 6 has been remade with two separate sections, and new exits.
What's been removed?
Instability harvesters, continuum extractors, corrupt chests and loot. Almond Forests and the usual "noclipping" entry method (suffocation).
How do I get into the Backrooms?
Come across an elevator in the overworld. Use it, explore the house, and find the Null Zone. You will find that you can smoothly walk into the Backrooms.
Release Notes
This update is still very experimental and within Immersive Portals integration is within its infancy. Some seldomly occurring bugs do exist with portals - namely some of them continuing to exist despite overlapped generation - and is being looked into. A few exceptions have been made for the new Immersive exits. For instance, every exit related to the Metro does not have Immersive Portal integration, and it will likely not be added due to the complex nature of the train system. Some features are WIP, and many Levels are still in the process of getting huge extensions. Stay patient!
